Guest BobcatBeliever Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 I would say you're very accurate, with the possibility that the HJ/OF position could switch, but could go either way.

I would love to see orangefield do better than my prediction shows due to the fact that I graduated from there.
Lucky Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 I think Bridge City wins it.............. and I don't think WOS will be last.
CATS80 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 I think Bridge City wins it.............. and I don't think WOS will be last. Its possible BC could. But with silsbee's team having the majority of there key players back from last years playoff team. I would still have to lean towards Silsbee being on top at this time. But that could change as the season gets going.
marty Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 Silsbee all the way, but watch out for bridge city's freshman matt hicks. the kid is tough with a great arm, and a good bat too. BC has a lot of talent as well as the rest of the teams in the district. it will be some tough games
hj27 Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 only one team from each district can make it past regionals
bulldog16 Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 only one team from each district can make it past regionals Remember, because of the bye for the district champs, baseball has 7 rounds in the playoffs (Bidistrict, Area, Regional quarterfinals, Regional semifinals, Regional final, State Tournament (Semis and Final). I can see 2 teams from this district making it past the 3rd round which would be the regional quarterfinals only because there is the possiblity that 2 of the 3 teams will meet in this round and then possibly meet again with the right to go to the state tournament. There is one thing for sure about this district, the 14 games that each team has will certainly get them ready for a playoff run.
