I feel dumber already for replying to this but for clarification, Obama was the underdog in Texas and got his butt handed to him in Texas...if that's the analogy that makes you feel better about Central's chances, then I can't help you...the two are clearly unrelated in any way, shape, or form

Now that I think about it, Nederland have yet to beat Mitchell.  Last time they played him was in 2010 and Nederland lost that one.  Last year was vs the backup QB, Bramble.

Nederland will win this game. Jags still clearly the underdog? That's why they play the game. The defense is the weak link besides coaching. They contain LCM Sezer and their half decent pass game. Why is it so far fetch that the jags even have a shot?

I hope that Central will bring a good game against us. This will be the last game before starting playoffs and could be a good warmup game.  Both teams have good reasons for winning, Undefeated District Title for Nederland and a playoff spot for Central (correct me if I am wrong). Either way, I expect the Jaguars to come and play their hardest against us.  I welcome that, it helps us.  Get ready everyone for a good game, no matter who wins.  Praying for no injuries and Good Sportsmanship.  Now, let's have some fun Friday night!

Funny how, if you think about it, every district game has playoff implications. Some teams find themselves needing a victory to get in and now have to play the undefeated reigning district champs.  If the other games were not enough motivation, why now?!

Yes, Nederland is the favorite. Why? Because they have been more consistent and won all their district games. Yes, Central is the underdog in this game. Do underdogs sometimes beat favorites? Yes, they do. Can Central win this game? Yes, they can. If both teams play the way they have most of the season, who would you pick to win?
