Ok so we have Jasper 7-2 (2-1) going to Center 8-1 (2-1) for second place in District 20-3A and the first spot in Division 2. Who ya got?

Two really tough east Texas teams however in my opinion Jasper will be too much for Center..  Jasper by a couple td's.

Carthage 49  Jasper 31  (Jasper scores late to make 31, but had the lead in the third quarter 24-21.  Center never led in their game.)

This game does not count, both teams played their JVs most of the game.

The game is in Center.  The last three meetings have Gone to the home team each time, with Jasper winning two very close games and the game in Center was not very close.  Looks like this one could be one of the better games in week 10.  Good luck to both teams and may they come out of it injury free so they can represent the district well in the playoffs.

Both teams are pretty good and look even on paper.  I will go with Center at home in this one.

I think this game will be tough and VERY hard fought... 21-14 Jasper... 14-14 most of the game, and Jasper breaks one late...

Yes, this will be a tough game for Jasper. It will be the 3rd test of the season - we failed the first 2 (WO-S and Carthage). If we don't beat Center soundly, I don't look for us to go far in the playoffs. We'll be one (maybe two) and done. Whomever wins can get some momentum going forward.

Should be a great game that goes to the wire.  The loser gets a little tougher 1st round game against Fairfield.

The winner gets an easier 1st round against Groesbeck, but would draw Navasota in the 2nd round.  So, the loser of this game actually has a better chance to make it to the 3rd round.

I can see it now; both teams playing to lose!  ;)  No, too much pride on the line for both teams.
