Guest orangeman Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Warren led this game the entire game. West Hardin came out flat and Warren played great defense. Warren led by 10 with about 6 minutes to go in the game. WH never quit and battled their way to a come from behind 2 point victory. Letsinger led the Oilers with 27 points. WH plays Spurger in the championship tomorrow at 6 pm. This was a great game!
Guest allsportsfan Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Good job by West Hardin to win in one of their worst played games of the year. Their effort was great. They beat a good team when they didn't play that well. They never give up. Warren's boys played well and hard. Their coach needs to keep his head in the game and out of the stands. It seemed unprofessional for him to mouth back and forth to the fans. Just my thought.Actions speak louder than words.
warfan Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 ditto on the great game. Letsinger scored 17 of his 27 in the fouth after 3 of warren's guards fouled out. Warren didn't make the free shots at the end and WH did. Granger 19, Andrews 11
bballchick Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 All three of Warren's guards didn't foul out at the same time, so it's impossible to make it sound like all 15 (not 17) of Letsinger's fourth quarter points were scored after they fouled out. And by the way, three of West Hardin's starters were also on the bench the majority of the fourth quarter. Let's leave it at this, West Hardin has beaten Warren in their last three match-ups, so enough smack. Warren's a solid team. Good luck in district.
