The PNG stadium would've been alot nicer, but they had to scale back on the original design for cost reasons. I remember the first design was super nice with a 3 story pressbox, brick on the stands, team pro shop, wrought iron fences, and some other really nice features.
team pro shop? really?
You don't think Academy or Walmart is going to put that ugly purple in their stores do you?  ;)
Actually, they already do.  They have Ned, PNG and PAM stuff available in the local stores.
It's more like Academy and Wal-Mart won't put any BH stuff on the shelves.

The design had it. It's not uncommon for area like that. Barbers Hill has "The Blue Room". PNG has a sports store that caters to PNG/Ned/PAM, and I'm sure several other communities as well. They were going to put the pro shop at the stadium. The 3 story pressbox was going to have rooms to rent out for birthday parties and such during games.

Crosby just put up a new score board and big screen... was fully operational last week... there are some plans in the making that would make the vistors side bigger with press box(would be the home side) and leaving the present home side the visitors side.. also puting parking where the baseball fields are now and buliding a baseball/softball complex....and a  new high school behind walmart... all depends on bond in may..

I have to say that Lumberton now has the 2nd best stadium in 20-4A. Since the upgrades both the home and visitor side are nice and seat a respectable amount. The restrooms and concessions are excellent. Until Nederland does something with their facilities and PNG can make more room on the visitor side to walk, I think Lumberton edges them out!

As a visiting fan last week at Lumberton, it was very nice to sit on the "new" visitors side...plenty of room, nice restrooms and concessions stands.

PNG's home side is nice but the visitors side stinks...it doesn't have adequate access to exiting the rows and the room under the stands isn't near enough...if you end up going to the concession stand or restroom, your are packed in like sardines.

Livingston...no comment

Vidor and LCM are comparable...not terrible, but seating is pretty limited.

Our's (Nederland) is OK...plenty of seating and Ok access to restrooms and concessions, but nothing special
Of course, the Beaumont schools have the nicest facility by far.
Everything ok but the mile walk through the community to get to the stadium.
that walk was longer for you going back than it was coming in I imagine...all in good fun, coog, all in good fun

PN-G Concessions on the home side are super nice...the extra lines keep it going fast...and there is a flat screen so you dont have to miss any football action. I do wish they would vamp up the visitor side, then it would be appealing as a playoff venue. Although it is nice to see all that black and gold over there suffering. lol
the suffering has been on whatever side you guys sit on for the past 3 seasons the way I see it...lol

The worst stadium in 20-4A is Nederland. Parking is a big issue. It doesn't look like it has been upgraded since WWII. The best is the Butch.

The worst stadium in 19-4A is Crosby because of the one rd. in and one rd. out issue. Takes forever to leave. They also have the most obnoxious announcer. The best is Turner although they also are the most expensive with a poor concession stand. Good overhead covering for rain.

BH has the best concessions with the most variety and best prices.

If BH upgrades the video scoreboard, I would put it up there with any area stadium. Maybe more seating on visitor side, but I'm good with the seating. Every game this year, the visiting side wasn't even filled up. The scroeboard I think would be the finishing touch.

how many seats is the visitors side? Was Dayton close to filling it? it's hard to tell just standing and looking. I agree the stadium is nice.

Texas Bob says the stadium holds 8,000. I would think 5k on home side and 3k on visitor side? Not sure though. I think it's a good size, but if we play teams with big fan bases, you'll hear complaints probably. The scoreboard IMO if upgraded would make it a top notch stadium. It's nice now though.
