Brenham starters play enough to stay sharp, then reserves get to play. A quarter and a half should be about right. I have no idea who CC beat this year but having seen the New Caney vs CC game I am suprised they won a district game.

Keep in mind, you saw the first game of the year with a new coach and new scheme.  They have had time to tinker with it and get use to each other.  They beat Porter and Magnolia.  They took Waller down to the wire last week. (Waller makes the playoffs with a win Friday) I'm changing my score for Brenham for the same reason you said.
