central JV WON 29 TO 28. GAME WINNING KICK AT THE END OF THE GAME. It was Central 20 to 6 at half and then nederland can on late to take the lead and left 27 second left on the clock. Central made a big play and then had soe help with a late hit and taunting penalty to set up the go ahead score.

One of those losses was to WOS whose only loss was up in Jasper..PNG has a good team there..hopefully they will turn it around next year.

Png lost to Nederland JV, also.

and Nederland's JV record overall is not reflective of the team.  Had too many injuries and losses of players during season.  They had chances at the end of all loses and lost twice to field goals in last minute.  We lost our field goal kicker, extra point kicker, kick-off, punter and our back-up as well, due to injuries.  3rd string punter and kick-off came in for rest of season and did fine.

Are you whining 87? Nederlands JV losing two district games because of injury or because of players moving on to Varsity?? Didn't hear any whining from PNG when the starting JV QB moved on to Varsity after week one. Or when the starting WR/DB/utility moved on to Varsity last week. Or when the starting Tailback hurt his knee and missed the last 3+ games or when the other starting WR/DB was injured and missed the Liv game or when the starting MLB and Safety moved up to Varsity. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is the PNG JV worked through it all and won a share of the DC last night. JOB WELL DONE!
