He was 9 and Brett was 12. Their team won the Highlands LL Major Championship (very big deal at the time). They have been friends since. Brett is a great young man with a good head on his shoulders. He is currently working on his degree in the off-season. No matter how his baseball career pans out, Brett will be successful in life.
