I have seen Vidor play this year, and have heard alot of great  things about Summer Creek.  If by any chance Summer Creek thinks Vidor is not ready for Friday they are wrong. Vidor was leading Angleton at Half last year, so no one had left. I think it will be an exciting matchup.  I also remember a team in the Second round last year who thought less of Vidor and were surprised with the outcome. One thing is for sure Vidor will have all the Chips on the table tomorrow and be all in.  Good luck to both teams.

Unless SC has a broadcast that I do not know of, there will be no broadcast of this game.

We tried but it just did not work out this week. Maybe next week if Vidor is still in it, we will have some guys available to broadcast the game.

Singleton is bigger and faster than Collins and Denny is more agile and elusive than Quirante. You have to think, the only good team Montana plays qb for over here is BH and Collins would be a true db. Playmaking ability is what stands out in 19-4a, we have athletes everywhere over here, even CE King. Wait 'til Vidor sees Greg Hogan, he's not big on a lot of schools radar but he will be the best receiver Vidor has seen this year, you have to roll coverage to him and then they backdoor you with Ruffin. We have some awesome athletes over here in 19-4a, I think the bi-district matchups are going to show that. I'd never thought I'd say it but Dayton is actually the only team I see with a .500 chance or better of losing.

I know of a girls softball player (pitcher) in 19-4a who is better than any athlete on the Vidor, or SC football teams.(no she doesn't attend SC) She has already been tapped for a Olympic team, and she is only 14 years old. She didn't compete in the Olympics this year, because of her age. She WILL be in Brazil in four years, unless she gets injured.

Vidor methodically moves the ball down the field. That's what their offense is geared to do and they have very talented players running that offense. If they control the clock and pound the ball down the field and score, they can win this game.

Vidor's defense has some very aggressive players with decent speed. They will hit you. Vidor will have to play their best defensive game to date. I think this will be an exciting game to watch.

Predictions are silly, but here is mine (and While I am sure that no coaches read this board, I sure hope I am right.)

Vidor wins the toss and defers.  Vidor executes the onside kick to take over near midfield.  Vidor executes a 12 play drive converting twice on 4th down.  Quirante caps the drive with a 3 yard TD run behind Moore's excellent blocking.  This will be the first of his "Al Bundy" game. 

Summer Creek will not touch the ball until much of the 1st quarter is done.  They will only get 3 possessions in the first half.

In the end Summer Creek will break some huge plays, but they will also have 2 turnovers.  Vidor's ball control offense will be very frustrating and it will show up in play calling and penalties on SC.

Vidor 31 - Summer Creek 21

The smaller, slower, less athletic team will come away with the win.  Both teams will earn the respect of each other.  And the Pirates will be a big underdog the following week as well.
