i have family that lives in Summer Creek and a nephew who goes to that school district....would i be welcome to come sit on the Summer Creek side wearing my purple and white and cheer them on against Vidor?
I sat on their side during the Dayton game got their viewpoints. Very enthusiastic people, plus I saw a few very nice looking women. I wish their band would have fired it up like those old Smiley, Forrest Brook and Jones games though.

Vidor attemped one pass against Cypress-Mauriceville. That means Vidor's pass game is still weak. Vidor will need more than smashmouth run plays, against the SC quick defense.

keep thinking that.  8)

We were missing Justin Moore for the Nederland game; he is one third of the offense. In the Slot-T, the fullback (which Justin plays) is vitally important to keep the linebackers honest so they can't cheat outside. I'm not gonna start the "if he had played stuff". I will say however, we still outgained Nederland in the game and were threatening when time ran out.

The pass game was weak against Nederland, and almost non-existent against Cypress. It looks like Vidor ran out of steam also at the end of the both the Nederland and Cypress games(although I am sure the second/third string was in for the Cypress game at the end.) Conditioning problems?

There's still people out there doubting the Bulldogs???!!!  Really?  The beatdown they gave Dayton and the rest of the Region III 19A should put all doubters on notice.

The Dawgs have THREE solid starting receivers, each could be the #1 receiver on most other teams.  They have TWO excellent starting running backs AND their 2nd string running back could start on most teams they play this year.  And everyone knows our Quarterback.  He can beat you with his arms or legs.  How do you defend a team that can throw, run, and has QB that's dangerous out of the pocket?

The Dawgs are coming to a town near you.  Don't miss the greatest show on turf.

BH game was a blow out in the making.  The Dawgs had some bad drops, lots of penalties and looked like they were sleep walking.  The BH game could have been 38-11. I will concede that BH is a better team than Dayton.

bulldog1984 -->  SCHS is a hitting team as well.  This team has swagger and is not pushed around.  If anything, we'll see some unsportsman like penalties.  The defense is full of kids with nasty attitudes.

The biggest fun is seeing this team hang 40+ points on proud, highly ranked opponents.  Its the most satifying to see those opponents fall.  The Vidor kids are already trash talking on Twitter and Facebook.  It will be a long ride back to hick-ville.
i was at the bh sc game and it could have just as easily been 7-3 at halftime. Bh killed theirself with unforced turnovers. I will agree that bh is better than dayton. They at least had a game plan and coaching. Vidor will have those same 2 qualaties.

This game will be closer than most (non pirate fans) think. Vidor will slow the game down some. Don't look at the Dayton game as any kind of barometer. Look at BH game vs SC. That is about what you will have.

SC. 28
Vidor. 14
I wouldn't look at the BH game as a barometer either. Dayton had a bad night Friday, Creek had a bad game that night. That was SC's worst game of the year and they were still up 21 in the 4th quarter. That's the only game all year they have been held under their averages and Vidor just gave up 42 points to a non-playoff team. I know Vidor was missing some starters but LCM was missing their best starter and still didn't have a problem scoring. I think Vidor can keep it close if SC doesn't stop the 3 or 4 at a time but if they have a few three and outs early like Dayton, I think it could be ugly like Dayton. SC beat us by 28 and beat Dayton by 38, Dayton just couldn't move the ball or it would have been similar to the 49-21 score they had with Crosby. It's a lot more likely Vidor gets the SC that played Dayton and Crosby than the one that had a bad game and was up 21 on BH in the 4th.

What's most amusing is you think BH was ever in that game.  It was only a matter of time.  Like stopping a boulder rolling downhill.
how many points did the greatest show on turf score the second half. Also 10 of sc pts came off a bad snap to a punter and an unforced fumble on a sc kickoff. Im just being real. Dayton sux right now and if sc goes in overcofident it could be problems. All that being said I hope sc puts this game away early just dont think they will.

This post alone explains where all the unsportsmanlike flags will be coming from.  Sounds like a team with some blown up heads. Yes, you guys are a good team. However, even players and teams with the best swagger can fall any night. SC might come in Friday night looking like the swollen head on the NyQuil commercials, you know that head gets popped at the end. As far as the nasty attitude goes, maybe those boys need to be taught nasty attitudes do not get you far in life nor a football field, even the best fall at some point.

Even on the NFL level, look at the Falcons/Saints game yesterday, anything is possible.

the bolded part is extremely evident. Reminds me of playing LM.

Not anything illegal.... just extra rough.

Demdawgs you're intentionally trying to start crap.....NO ONE is talking trash on twitter and stuff.....and IF someone was Mathews would put a stop to it quick!! There's more BS in here than anywhere. If you read these posts Vidor fans are supporting their team and keep saying don't underestimate.Almost everyone for SC is saying this is gonna be a blowout or Vidor just won't have what it takes.Overconfidence can be detrimental when all facts are unknown and assumptions made.......just saying.....

You guys are really funny.  Dayton did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to stop the Bulldogs.  Dayton could play this team 10 times and lose all 10.  I saw nothing on Dayton side to provoke any fear.  Your best play was the QB keeper ...which you ran constantly.  It wasn't a bad night for Dayton ...you were just out matched and it showed.

The best shot SC took was from BH.  Had BH seen a wide awake SC team like the one that came to PN-G and Dayton ....ooooooo weeeeee.

I guess I can't fault you for dreaming.
Y'all are good, but not 45-7 on Dayton good. Haven't you heard the Bronco and Pirate fans? Dayton played a bad game, BH is the real measuring stick. I know y'all only scored in the twenties one time this year but you haven't seen Vidor's slot-t, ball control offense. It's way better than the BH offense that had 3 pts in the 4th quarter against y'all. Even though BH and Crosby played y'all closer, Dayton and their 111 total yards was you toughest test, not Crosby and their 459 yards with 21 points (both are most of anybody in the district). You hadn't been tested before BH either, even though you beat Dayton at home worse than any playoff team in 19-4a. District play is over though, so now Vidor and their smash mouth style will play you closer than anybody has so far. They'll be the 2nd team since district to break 20 pts along with being the 2nd to hold you under 30. They are going to hit you hard and have a lot of heart, and since you haven't seen that so far this year I have to go with Vidor . . . . . . . to keep it within 30

In my eyes, this means nothing. Again, an upset can happen on all levels. Take the Falcons who were 8-0 playing against a bad Saints team who were 3-5 but yet they won! Please continue to let the heads of SC swell and swell, we will be more than happy to assist you in popping your bubble.  ;D

Honestly I haven't commented too much on this Vidor vs SC thread.
1. I just wanted us to beat the crap out of Dayton and that's it
2. I don't know much about Vidor , and the other playoff teams

But cougar14, you are funny...you say something different about the same subject every time . I have no choice but to believe you just have no clue. Even though I had beef with the Dayton ppl, and believe Nederland will beat them, especially if no changes are made on their offense, but out of all honesty.....I want all the 19-4a teams to win, and make a deep run in the playoffs....that will represent and show our tough district we play in, and show everybody else, 19-4A, is where all the real Football players are  8)
