Dayton seems to have some internal problems to work out privately as per their coach. This is the wrong time of the year to try and fix things. While I  am pulling for the Aggies today against Alabama, good defense usually beats good offense. I have to go with Nederland for the same reason.

Ok baby ned now our turn to teach you a playoff lesson about 19-4a football  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I want to get this ball rolling

Hey, we all know Dayton sucks and is the 4th best team in this district.  Yall drew our duck.  That being said, they still have a chance if their coaches make the moevs that every sees needs to be made.

13-6. Sucks don't it
Would have been a different story if Denny hadn't gone down on the 1st offensive series. Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it. And yes, 13-6 sucks worse than 54-0 in this case.

Nederland in a nail bitter.....it's gonna be tough, but the Dogs can rise to the challenge....
You have to play the best to be the best.

It's time.

Go Dogs!  Congrats on doing what we knew you would do!!! 8) 8) 8) 8)
Proud of all their hardwork, dedication and teamwork!

I still think this game will be a WAR. No team is ever as good or as bad as their last game. Dayton was 9-0 before a bad outing against a very good team last night. This will because very tough game for us. I hope the Dogs come out hungry and focused.

Dayton got a wakeup call last night and will focus more this week and play better, sometimes things like this( a good butt whipping) needs to happen to refocus players.

Dayton 17
Nederland 14

I HOPE that Dayton fixes what ever it is that seems to be going on behind closed doors... There are definitely some issues that need to be fixed and quick...

I dont see Dayton coming out as flatfooted as they did last night . Didnt png have a great d last year that could stop lowly Dayton well we will soon see
I believe our D did stop a better Dayton team last year...you were held to only, if memory serves me correctly, 3 touchdowns. The rest were fieldgoals... 42, 48, 41, 33 and 39...final was 36-31, but that was last year...I doubt Nederlands D will even allow that many FG's this year.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda,.....you got plunked on your own field. Face it BH has ONE player
And he graduates this year or runs out eligibility, either way it is back to the scrap heap you go.

Nederland still remembers that butt whooping in that scrimmage, they are healthy and motivated, before last night I was kind of worried, but now ned is the clear cut favorite.
Nederland 31
Dayton 21
I saw the scrimmage and it wasn't the same d-line and some other kids that played against Crosby. Dayton just has simple playcalling. They really don't have a sustainable run game so if they can't get behind you in the passing game they kind of struggle to score points. No reason for Dayton not to be able to throw the ball though, Chambers is very accurate and throws a beautiful ball. He hit some nice passes on Crosby and threw one to Tamlin on the sideline last night that is Saturday worthy. Ned doesn't have great offense either though, if you can check Hopkins that's pretty much half of their attack so if Dayton doesn't turn it over and can get a couple explosive plays I think they still win. 21-20 Dayton
No, Kaleb Denny will be back next year. He is a junior this year. He has been our starter since he was a freshman. I agree with the woulda, coulda, shoulda part. We will never be on the scrap heap. You will be looking over your shoulder again next year until another embarrassing district loss on your home field courtesy of BH ;)

Do you know why they have trouble running the ball. Hint. It has nothing to do with their running backs.
Is one of you lineman hurt? It seems like you were missing a big guy that played against us, or is it because your only have two running plays and a quarterback draw?
daytons offensive line while being big gets no push and if you cant dominate the line of scrimmage like you said you need more than 2 running plays and a qb draw. Not a knock on crosby but yall were the only good team dayton was able to run on this year and im sure we couldnt now. I would say sc has a great defense but everybody has been able to shut daytons run game down.

Nederland offense is just starting to show "all" its cards, same thing with special teams, Neumann played it like a playoff game last night.  Wood saw some fullback, Stampley who could star at guard if needed, played some TE, blocked well and caught a pass, the TE is obviously a dimension that will be added to the offense during the playoffs.  I think we're about to see a different level of football.

I'm pulling for the Broncos, but I think Ned wins this one if they are as good as everyone says they are. I haven't seen Ned play this year, but heir is the X factor. If Ned ever gets the offense rolling, they could have 3 or 4 more weeks of football. Ned has a tendancy to throw some ints. Dayton just didn't impress me when they played BH. Ned wins 28-14
Posted
not so much on the INTs...Raiines has only thrown 6 all season and 4 were in one quarter...Nederland has scored 35, 48, and 45 points in the last 3 weeks, so offensively, I think they are fine

Your right, I retract that. For some reason I thought there were more. Must be thinking of the Angelton game. Carson has improved and is more efficient this year. Good kid. I'm going to jack with Ramon all week. ;D
