Round 4 for WOS would be Navasota, LaMarque, or Coldspring.  Which ever of these 3 makes it out.
There's some on your list that won't make the 4th round... ;)
Your correct. None of those three team might make it,  but WOS WILL be there . Where's Kirbyville? ;)
I'd hope so. Wos has by far the easiest route to the 4th round again this year.

Wos probable opponents:
Cleveland
West Columbia
Center/Lorena

Coldspring probable opponents:
Bridge City
La Marque
Navasota
There were times when WO-S was on the tough side of the bracket. It's not like we get a free ride every year.Anyway, you gotta be ready regardless who you play.

WOS will undoubtedly win, but it will be a very physical game.  Cleveland is very physical and does not give up.  They do talk some noise also.

One thing that WOS won't do is fall into a noise talking trap or fall for the "get in their head" routine. We never have and NEVER will as long as Cornel is the coach. He will not stand for that. His number 1 rule , above all others, is discipline. Trust me, I know. He will pull anyone and I mean ANYONE, no matter how important to the team, if they fall for that. People might be able to say negative things about the Mustangs, but lack of discipline or trash play is not tolerated.....period. The one thing that scares me ,however, is the people who have said that Cleveland will try to hurt you when you are beating them. It is hearsay ,but if that is the truth, that is classless.
I can assure you Cleveland does not play dirty, Coach Maple will not tolerate it either. Different people have opinions and that's fine, but these boys made the play offs also and we are very proud of them. WOS played Cleveland last year, I don't remember any DIRTY playing going on. It was a pretty good game until the two WOS players ran into each other, after that long break WOS put the pedal down.

We know WOS has the team and we are the underdog big time, but Cleveland has a pretty dang good defense and we will see Friday night. our offense needs to do something???? We will need to put points on the board and this is where we have struggled.

I'm just a fan these days, my son is a junior this year but has been out all season with a torn ACL over the summer. My point is i have been with most of the varsity players since they were 7 and 8 in little league, alot were at my house last night watching the Texans and talking about this game. Hurting players has never been discussed or would it be tolerated. They do play hard and they will not give up, we as Cleveland fans are looking for a good game.

I pray GOD keeps all of the boys playing Friday night safe and injury free.

Good luck to both teams

Hope your son gets better, I know how it is to have a child out who wants to play so badly.

Only 1 of those teams can possibly make the 4th round. They will have to knock out the other 2 to get there.

What's all this talk about blowing them out and holding them to zero. Remember that they have scored on some good defenses. It should be a great first half. Then conditioning and "4th" quarter will come into play and then the whipping will take place. They may get on the board but they're going too have to fight for it.  WOS a lot Cleveland not near enough

It seems like every year WOS draws the weakest opponment for bi-district...Couple more links out of the chain and WOS will be a spectator..... ;) ;) ;) ;D
IF YOU`RE GOING TO RUN YOUR MOUTH ABOUT WO-S , OR ANY TEAM , YOU SHOULD AT LEAST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HOW PLAYOFFS PAIRINGS WORK  " IN ALL SPORTS" PEOPLE WON`T KNOW HOW UNINFORMED YOU ARE IF YOU KEEP YOUR MOUTH CLOSED!!!! IN FOOTBALL (HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE, PRO) THE OBJECTIVE IS TO WIN YOUR DISTRICT, CONFERENCE, OR DIVISION) IN ALL CASES THE CHAMPION DRAWS A WEAKER OPPONENT FOR THEIR FIRST PLAYOFF GAME. WHEN WO-S STARTS MAKING THEIR OWN SCHEDULE, AND CHOOSING THEIR OWN PLAYOFF OPPONENTS, THEN YOU CAN SPEW YOUR NONSENSE ABOUT WHO THEY`RE PLAYING. UNTIL THEN , STOP LETTING EVERYBODY KNOW YOUR IQ WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!

this is the 2nd outstanding QB the mustangs have played this year and he has a huge OL infront of him as it was told to me yesterday this cleveland team will most likley be the biggest OL and DL the mustang will see in the playoffs and this has me on edge
3rd great QB . Central, Silsbee & Cleveland. Centrals probably the best just didnt have much help!
Agreed.  Dont know how many dropped passes Central had but it was not the QBs fault.

    • Like I said, even if it’s only 10% of the 100 kids BHISD takes from GCCISD each year, that’s 10 athletes per year and that’s being generous.  You’re right about the jobs with BHISD, BTW.  There’s more than 1 athlete from Baytown originally who got transferred to BHISD after a job opened up for Mama.

    • It’s behind a paywall but here’s Baytown Sun’s story on it.  It was reported on in other papers statewide so if you search by the date I think you’ll find other stories on it. UIL strengthens student transfer rules By Ron McDowell [email protected] Oct 18, 2024   In order to maintain a level playing field for all member schools, the University Interscholastic League strengthened rules regarding transfer student eligibility at its most recent meeting in Austin. Every year thousands of students transfer schools in the state of Texas. A student’s ability to participate in UIL sanctioned activities may be limited base on the reasons for the transfer. A change in family status, work transfers, enrollment in an academic magnet program, or a move across town, receive scrutiny, but only rarely does one of these reasons result in the loss of eligibility. The only reason to automatically cause the loss of participation eligibility is a transfer for athletic purposes. The current rule, which has been in place since 1981, does not require a Previous Athletic Participation Form (PAPFs) to be submitted if the student-athlete does not participate in a varsity level sport during the first year of enrollment. There has been growing concern among some member schools, that other members are breaking the current rule and creating “super teams” with new transfer enrollees, and that the UIL is not doing enough to police, what appear to be, the inordinate number of transfers among high school athletes. To mitigate these concerns, the UIL approved a proposal to expand the power of the State Executive Committee (SEC) and allow it to investigate schools based upon the number of PAPFs submitted. Schools that submit an inordinate number of PAPFs would face heightened scrutiny and possible public reprimand and future sanctions. The UIL has also changed the requirements for PAPF submission, mandating that the form be submitted before a grade 9-12 transfer student may participate at any level of school athletics. This is a marked departure from the current policy which encourages schools not to complete PAPFs for students who transfer in, if the school believes that the student will not play a varsity sport in the first year the student is enrolled at the new school. Some critics of the current system think that the change doesn’t go far enough. Speaking on background, one local school district source suggested that there should be an automatic year wait for transfer students due to the number of loopholes in the waiver process. “If a student transfers, it should be a year out of competition automatically,” the source said. In addition, the UIL also approved a proposal that gives the SEC the power to appoint an independent administrator to oversee the conduct of the local District Executive Committee (DEC) if it is determined that the DEC is not consistently enforcing the rules of the governing body. The change is significant since all appeals that a school brings, starts and usually ends with the DEC. That includes the determination of transfer student eligibility. It is believed that with the implementation of this change, schools in a UIL district will be less likely to face retribution from the DEC chair and other members. The policy changes will go into effect, Aug. 1, 2025 This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up
    • I was hoping WOS was going to win. To get another chance to redeem ourself. Silsbee did not look good in that game and has not played consistent during the season. Hopefully against La Vega they will play 4quarters of football
