Yates is decent, but my GOD if Silsbee can get past the first round they have a chance to make a run. And Jasper played Carthage pretty close and IMO Silsbee is better then Jasper, atleast they were lastnight.

Yates is way down this year. They got blownout by North Forest and lost to Kashmere. The Winner of the Huffman/Silsbee game should face the winner of the Waco La Vega/Carthage game in the 3rd round.

Carthage and La'Vega will be a good game, but like I said in other threads If Silsbee plays every team like they played WOS lastnight then they can beat almost anybody they will play. Wouldnt it be great to see Silsbee,WOS, Newton and Nederland some how all make it to the championship game. SE Texas would be there in full support

Wasn't the Jasper/Carthage score around 40-25? Carthage is the favorite in the region till they get beat.

Made it to Regional finals is first year at Silsbee in '98. He has also made deeps runs in the playoffs as head coach at Navasota and Alto.
