ragarm55 Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 At least 8 of those BH backs play in every game...Close, or blowout.
Mr. Blitz Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 BH is getting healthy at the right time. They are going to bludgeon Livingston up front. BH rarely has elite athletes but they play disciplined, hit you in the mouth football. Livingston is about to find that out the hard way. Not sure if Lions eat crow but y'all better look up some recipes because there is a hot plate of it coming your way Friday night.

CEK & KWP aren't too bad then you have BH, Dayton, SC and Crosby. IMO Livingston would not make the playoffs in 19-4A and Ned would probably place 2 or 3.

cougar14 Posted November 14, 2012 Author Report Posted November 14, 2012
Livingston has 4 backs that can take it to the house. They spread it around and have used multiple backs to keep their athletes fresh because they all play defense as well. If this turns into a track meet the Lions win. Will be very interested to see how #40 likes being beat on every play instead of flowing with the zone blocking of 19-4A. Fun to hear how much the BH faithful have bought into the idea that Chevoski Collins is not as good as Sharp, Walter, Denny, Chambers or any of the great athletes in 19-4A. Delusional!!!
Collins is going to Texas, plus my cousin at Texas asked me who Chevoski Collins was last year so that means he's been on UT's radar for while, he was just waiting on the official offer. Collins is Livingston's best athlete so as such they want him to touch the ball as much as possible due to the fact they don't have a Denny, Walter, Chambers, or Sharp on the team, all of which are much more true qbs. BH fans took a page out of my book and put the stats on there to argue their point that their guy is a much more effective QB and they have played much more effective QBS than Collins. Collins is a flat out baller, nobody is arguing that. I think he has the type talent to be in the NFL in three years depending on where his head is at. I also respect Ozen because they have a kid who could be a top 10 pick in Tony Brown. The top 5 teams in this district are 39-11 with 7 of those losses coming to state ranked opponents, nothing delusional about that. All four games are going to be good for their own separate reasons, kind of disappointed I only get to catch two. :'(

phunter308 Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 If BH can stop Collins they win easily. If they can't they can still win with ball control. Livingston has some good athletes but have penalty issues. Lions can get in a rhythm and can score quickly, Close game if all play good.

I don't think Texas is recruiting him yet and if so not real heavy, and despite what some A&M fans think, the offer from Horns brings you into the big time recruiting wise, not the one from the Aggies. You can check this by comparing offer sheets. I think Collins has some Earl Thomas like qualities and could play safety in the league for a while, I think Austin is just going to be a great college player unless he can grow a couple inches. I'm sure they told Darren Sproles the same thing though. I think LSU, Oregon, OK State, Baylor, and TCU are the schools recruiting him the most, or at least that's what it looked like on his Twitter. I think if he was taller he would be one of the top backs in the country.
