UNLV Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Didn't Lamar destroy Kansas st the last meeting?
nbulldogs2004 Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Where was the Lamar team from the second half in the first half???? Played much better and shot ridiculously better in second half... Only 21% in first half... Liking the freshman Rhon mitchell too...
UNLV Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 We need a new coach. How long will it take for Lamar to figure this out. Everyone around the country is laughing at Lamar. Woodard needs to...err oh, this basketball. my bad.
UNLV Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Scratching my head to the Dr Jeckle/Mr Hyde Lamar tonight or maybe K-st took the foot off the gas.

Lamar will have some early season growing pains.
Green Menace Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Hang in there Lamar fans, you now face a North Texas team that lost to DII Alabama-Huntsville last night. You will face our pre-season All-American, Tony Mitchell, who played uninspired basketball in the loss. I guess he's concentrating on how high of a lottery pick he be during the NBA drafts. Last night was a total embarrassment.Oh, and if you have any player that can shoot from the 3-point range, have at it. Your guys will shoot uncontested from the arc. Ala-Huntsville had a field day last night.
UNLV Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Lamar is a really young team. Can UNT beat 15 points in a half? However I see great potential in Lamar.
badndn Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Very impressed with what I saw in the second half. First half looked like a young team that got caught with the first game jitters. Played a little scared early on, but settled down and played very good basketball against a very good opponent in the second half. If Rhon Mitchell, Donley Minor and Stan Brown can play with the second half intensity that they displayed last night, this team will compete well in the SLC this season. Still need a center that can score inside of course there are many mid to low majors with this problem.Minor appears to be a very good leader on the court. Having a Freshman PG will create some problems, but Blanks can play and Minton handled the ball better last night. Hopefully Minor can help them grow.
