Spherictrey
So Jasper plays Groesbeck in the first round and should very well win. However in the next round it looks like Navasota will be the opponent for Jasper. Could Jasper hang with Navasota?

The soph players from last year now have another year of experience. But for sure, Navasota will be tough. I saw them once this year. Big and fast; but I did not sense that they are bigger or faster than Jasper.
j_dog
if u do not concentrate on the game in front of u ............, may not need to speculate on future match-ups. Focus, Jasper, focus!!!
Spherictrey
Barbay has done a great Job and the 2 losses they had were against state ranked teams and they were by no means out of those games. Jasper's defense has been stout and I expect them to hold well. Jasper shot theirselves with silly miscues that could have easily turned those two games around. I believe if Jasper does face Navasota they can make it a competitive game.
bulldogs1990
I'm a bulldog fan but Navasota is the real deal I don't think or offense is good enough defense is the real deal stopping the run but if they pass the ball we are in trouble. You got to win the first game first. Good luck dogs

Big and fast; but in my perception, not bigger nor faster than Jasper. Make no mistake, Navasota is very good. They are not going to make silly mistakes. But not unbeatable if Jasper were to play a perfect game. And they are due for that. But first of course, Jasper needs to stay focused and win over Groesbeck this week. But I do think the potential is there to play with just about anyone if they cut out the mistakes.
ChampionEagles
Curtis Barbay had the ability to get a team to play over their heads at times and to never believe they could be beaten. Maybe Darrell can instill this attitude with the Bulldogs. A team becomes very dangerous when they do these things. I'm pulling for you "Dawgs"! Go show 'em what you got. ;)
