Mark my word that there are several PA transfers going to PN next year. They will be in MS, but these kids are athletes. I talked to one of the dads the other day. These boys are very talented. That MS group is going to be good.

I don't know about that, but I do know a couple of the transfers run track in the summer for PA and they are ranked very high in the state. Who knows, but having athletes never hurt a football program. I don't know about state though. ;D

BG's Big Reveal -----Much like Dayton, not only did PNG tank their last game they decided to tank 7 other games this year cause they wanted to finish 2-8. Why you ask -- Coach has it in his contract that if he finishes 4 wins better than the prior year he automatically gets a BIG Raise. Coach nows with the talent coming up next year he is assured at least 6 wins. Cha Ching $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$  ;D

A Coaching mindset doesn't usually change.    Png has not been defensively building their program.  The lower levels are not showing consistency on defense.  Why would all of sudden next year's varsity, know how to play defense effectively?

It's not a talent problem as much on defense as it is a coaching philosophy.  Defense has hurt Png all year and it will not be remedied in one season (whether they make to playoffs or not).  Mark my words. 8) 8) 8)

Note:  WOS didn't always have the talent for their successful teams.  But the program was built on a defensive mindset all the way through and the players fit into those schemes because it was the program.

Just saying a few good words here and there, is not building a program and just having more talent at PNG next season isn't going to fix their probelms either, of course IMO.  ::)

In fact many Bulldog fans were calling for Spells head.  What changed two years ago? The influx of talent on that side of the ball that's what. Now Spell is a genius.

That year was a lot of Sophmores playing D. Same kids playing right now. They just went through the system and got alot better.

Ned Coaching always has had a defensive mindset, (maybe due to previous influences on coaches).

I for one was NOT calling for any head of coaches at Ned....consistently the program has been in place,and yes, some years are better than others due to talent level. 

I just don't see that mindset at Png..JMO.  8) (maybe I should take off my sunglasses);)
