Honestly, Tatum beat Tatum when they played Troup.  I still say Troup was not as good as Tatum, White Oak, Jefferson, or Harmony.

Good game by the Bucs. Troup was 9-1. Hard to see that team getting 5th place after 9 wins. They took care of business during the regular season, including beating Tatum. Last nights game was extremely physical and the Bucs just outplayed Troup in the 2nd half. Both teams were well coached and we couldn't have asked for a better opening round. Good season to Troup and good luck to the Bucs next round!

EC had an EXCELLENT game plan in place. The Bucs kept Troup off balance the whole night. EC exploited Troup's keying on Roberts. Vanya plowed ahead for good yardage, and BJ made great passes. The EC defense played with lots of heart. The secondary stepped up and made BIG picks. Great to see Adam Trent back in action.      8)

I want to thank the folks who posted the kind comments about the broadcast last night. We appreciate your kind words. I am a bit under the weather and my voice was and is pretty ragged. Going to 2 OT didn't help it either (except making an already great game even better). Hope it wasn't too much of a nuisance.

This was one of the best games I have seen all year. Two evenly matched teams squaring off with one making 1 or 2 more plays than the other. That was basically the difference.

Congrats to East Chambers on a great win. Hopefully we can continue broadcasting next week for you guys.
