Brady why you always hating on HJ.  Everyone knows you went to Silsbee.  I know that you have ties to Kountze, but come one man.  HJ is by far better than Kountze this year, and you know it.  I knew that Bosha and Johnson would do their thing tonight, but was most impressed with the sophomore Mayes (#22).

I'm really not trying to hate.. Hj is not bad! I was impressed with 22 also! I knew Johnson would do good. I still believe Kountze is the better team. I will say this, hj is better then I thought, BUT if you stop Johnson, I think it will be over.

If HJ had Lebron and Kobe, you would have said the same thing.  YOur personal bias against is so sadly obvious.  But, the good news is, all the negative comments you make have no effect on the effectiveness of their performance tonight.  And sorry, a margin that substantial is not attributable to someone playing bad.

Idk but he had 13 points in the 1st quarter. I left after he hurt his leg or ankle in the 3rd. I really hope he is ok and is not going to miss any games.

Kountze will be fine..do I think they played good?  No alot of missed opportunities that would've made this game closer..looking at Kountze's schedule this year only see them losing to HJ..possibly Silsbee.. and Humble in the hj tournament.. Something I did see Kountze was breaking the press last night..it was turnovers on the other end and a bunch of missed shots. Best of luck to HJ the rest of the year and hopefully Kountze gets another shot at the hj tournament

Play man to man.... they have 2 players that can create their own. Shots with
3 and 12... slow them 2 down and dont turn the ball over you will beat them

As previously stated by another poster, most high school teams have 1 or 2 good players.  And, of course, defining what is "good" is another issue.  You dont need more than 1 or 2 who can create their own shot.  I can appreciate the theory of slowing the two top players down and not turn the ball over but all that isnt going to happen simultaneously very often.  If HJ cant handle a man to man defense, it will show up very soon and everybody will start using it against them and they will lose most of their games.  If you stop their two players, it will be with some defensive help and it simply means other players will have scoring opportunities they would otherwise not have.  Brady, you can rest assured that Johnson isnt going to be stopped one on one by anyone in this area and that includes your most preferred team.  He can certainly have an off night but it wont be because someone singlehandedly stops him.  The people of whom you are so confident are going to stop him didnt do it last year and with him having a larger leadership now, I would be willing to bet it wont happen this year.  You look pretty foolish "declaring" that a team that lost a game very convincingly, in every aspect, is somehow the superior team.
