TradinUp BH Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 I figured it would be Waller or Cy-Fair. Anybody know yet?
Eazy Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 I doubt SHSU would be the place. I dont think they can schedule the field since Sam may be hosting a playoff game. All game dates/times unknown until the NCAA seedings and matchups are set. We'll see.
ragarm55 Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 Conroe's Woodforrest...Saturday. Don't know time
Football Fan 4 Life Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 Congrats on your win lastnite. I think BH is a really good team this year. I don't know anything about the other team either but I'm picking you to win also, good luck.
bronco pride Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 I dont anything about elgin but 512 yds of offense against brenham has me a little nervous. Got a week to prepare bh and take care of business.
Cougtalk Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 BH loses by 14. You heard it hear first.

Octfeb Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 Seems if I remember right.. when Dayton played Elgin in 2008, We flipped for it as to whos stadium it would be played at. Dayton or Elgin. Dayton won the flip. Not sure why it was done like that. Lack of venues in the middle maybe? Could it be that way this time?
ragarm55 Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 1:30PM game time at Woodforest in the Woodlands.
TeamJagUS Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012
Elgin has three loses.Lost to Vista Ridge 41-40Lost to Georgetown 31-8Lost to Manor 17-13Lost to Connally 46-6They are averaging 36.5 points a game and giving up 18.8 point a gameBH is averaging 35.3 point a game and fiving up 10 points a game
None of that matters much now, it's all about matchups. You never know if a team had a play maker out (injury/grades) during those loses (and all those loses were against stout teams). That being said the Hill made a strong showing last night and it should be a good game.

BH's starting QB was out for 3 games this year and 2 of them being very important. Also just like Elgin I'm sure at least 6 games this year BH's 2nd team was playing in the 3rd quarter just like against Livingston.
BHFAN Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 Hey BHFANs not looking ahead ,but if you want a sneak peak at round 3. the winner of this game takes on Marshall/Texas City and it's right down the road Friday Night ;D ;DFort Bend Marshall (11-0) vs. Texas City (9-2)7 p.m. Friday, Galena Park ISD
badndn Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 Sharp got'em this year and Green got'em last year. Seems to me that they don't fair to well in the W-L columns against athletic dual threat QBs.
cornhusker Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 I think Barbie takes this one. Barbie could beat Dayton in a rematch IMO.

Eazy Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 A solid Barbers Hill defense wins this one 17-10.
bh89-2 Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Our defense can keep us in most games. If we can move the ball and balance the offense out a bit, we win this one.
dme1111 Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 the"not real deal hill" goes down.... ;D
cougar14 Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 This is the kind of team that gives BH trouble. They spread you out and try to get it to their speedy playmakers in space. I know this year's Brenham's team was over rated because of their usual 9-1 record but Elgin still held them to 271 yards, put up over 500 and forced 5 turnovers. Elgin looks like the same kind of team as Crosby so we'll get our chance to see if the BH d can deal with the spread rushing attack now.
