Good thing about these Dayton blizards are they are always cold and never warm up enough to melt.  ;D ;D  Well, that is short of the final 3 week melt down, that is.  ;) ;)  OK, off of Dayton for several months, we all know they won't win anything again until maybe next football season, AND that's a big maybe there.  ;)

Say what you want. The Dayton Broncos lost to Nederland in the first round. Hats off to the kids at Nederland for making the big plays when you did. Most of you would love to have had the playoff run that the Broncos have had. All good things must come to an end but we will be back and all of you know it. Who knows. We may end up back in 20-4a in a few years and that will be fun. The Broncos just had too many distractions at the end of this season to overcome. I will leave it at that. The only real dominant team in this area that could go to state is Summer Creek. Just ask Vidor. Nederland is not a dominant team like Summer Creek is now or like the Broncos have been for the last seven years. The Bulldogs will not get past the third round if they win next week. I will eat my crow and I like Chipotle sauce with it.  This is just my opinion and my opinion alone. Dayton has a real Football program and is not a one playoff win wonder.

If both teams are firing on all cylinders, I think SC would win the matchup. But mistakes on either side could skew the result. The SC passing game is more of a matchup problem for NED then vice-versa.

But hey, that is a game for later on. Good luck to both teams.

Kinda hoping this is also the case for PN-G. Not sure how the '13 season will go yet, but hearing the Indians could be really good in '14. Time will tell.

[/quote] Yeah - I ordered six - week "0" (to break the state record)  noticed they had a little kick-(er) to em so I put them on ice only to discover my fridge went on the blink around week "10"- as they started to melt I paniced and the only way to consume all of them at once and avoid choking was to get a straw and really "suck".  ( can you say brain freeze )

That is what I heard last year, Dayton going to be loaded with talent, if that was the case it seems coaching is the issue, if I'm in charge of the hiring and firing at Dayton I tell Stewart to make up his mind, either coach or retire we don't need a part time AD making more than most teachers. If you want to walk the sidelines during a game, put a headset on and get to it, if not time it's time to move on.
With the money being wasted on a HC and part time AD you might find a decent coach, and I can say that because I'm a taxpayer in DISD
