Realignment is all over the map. MWC may lose 3 teams. MWC fans says MWC will grab Texas teams. I say which Texas team? NOT LAMAR. If MWC lose 1 team, then Lamar to the MWC with Texas st is a good move. If 3 teams leave, no for Lamar. Everything is pointing SBC right now.

Don't underestimate the Sun belt.  It's a good FBS league.  Should get 5-6 teams in bowls this year.  Of course, nowadays, bowls are like the "everybody gets a trophy" mantra.

I'm still sticking with my prediction that Lamar will end up in the SBC.  WKU lost something like 20+ games when they made the move but now they're winning.  FCS football just won't cut it long term because way too many people see it as D2 football and FBS football is king in this part of the country.

Talked to several people at Lamar and they put a presentation for the confrence Karl Benson and several people came to Beaumont to check out Lamar and the facilites several good things were said some issues that Lamar needs to work on very soon but overall SBC is expanding west
