football04 Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 With 32 districts in 4A, 8 districts in each region, the UIL seems to use district 17 as a floater, sometimes its in the Austin area and they wind up in region 3, other times they move district 17 to the Kilgore/ Jacksonville area, taking them out of region 2 and into region 3, I guess to balance out the regions and to be fair about it they alternate these area's, I'm sure the Austin teams would rather be in region 4 and the Kilgore area would rather be in region 2, but every other realignment one of them gets put in region 3.
