#5 Nederland vs #1 Pearland Dawson

Last year Dawson had a balance between running and passing. This year their passing game isn't as good. That Upchurch WR is a stud though. Nederland can stop the run and make it a ballgame. Also want to get Raines on a lot of QB runs because the QB at Friendswood absolutely destroyed Dawson with his running.

Dawson is VERY good, but I don't think they are as dynamic as last year.  Our Dogs are definitely the better team.  Our defense is going to give them trouble.  The dogs get it done 21-17.

This will be no blowout. In my opinion, it's a coin toss. Could go either way. I'll say the team with the least penalties wins. It'll be a 5 point game or less

Doesn't matter. Our defense did outstanding. Hopkins did outstanding. Wind was crazy so it made it tough on Carson to complete passes.

You don't get it. You do not have to put up 50 a game and have 300 yards passing to be a "dominant" offense. Nederland is a very balanced team that likes to shove it down your throat. Time Of Possesion. And if they happen to get down, Carson can make plays with his feet or throw it to our recievers. Very physical o-line.

You can't explain football to demdawgs he is blinded with ignorance.  On the other hand, Hopkins had 174 tonight for another great night against a tough defense.  The defense will be dominant as it has been all year, but Hopkins and the online's tremendous improvements will be key.  It could set up Carson and company for big yards and take the game out of pd Jackson's hands

Dawg you better worry if you make it to the next round. We already punched our ticket with a good hard fought game in some not so good weather. Defense was outstanding, offense was good and special teams had a brain fart. The best part is we won. Oh by the way ya'll let Vidor hang 28 on yall with 487 yards of offense. Sounds like SC might be suspect on defense.

Only one team wins state. To constantly pick against someone shows absolutely no kahunas. Probably wishful thinking.

Demdawgs mentality......Dayton goes 9-1 and is weak. SC goes 10-0, plays in same district, and is unstoppable.

Yeah, every team we have played had concrete feet. Speed is great but doesn't always win. BTW, all our players run a 10.0 40.

We controlled there speed last year.. And we have some team speed as well.
