#5 Nederland vs #1 Pearland Dawson

Pearland has a very effective offense. QB is nifty and can run, as well as pass effectively while rolling out and can throw it down field when given time to set up.  Nice RB as well for Dawson.


Nederland's best defense next week is the Offense.  Keep PD off the field and ball control. 

NED defense always does their job.  Next week, special teams, turnovers and control is the path to victory. 

PD is good but I believe Nederland will be better.  Team effort and ability to overcome is what will tip this game in NED's favor.

Bottom line is it doesn't mean beans who is #1 and who is #5..what makes all the difference is who can hold onto the ball and who can score in the red zone. I say Ned with the big upset over Pearland 28-21.

see the game against texas city. TC is not that great and gave them hell!!! did the same last year. nederland is to sound and well coached. i say big ned by 2 td's!!

Dogs will have their hands full next week with the #1 team in the state...rematch from last year..interesting that despite all of the up and comers, 3/4 of the final 4 teams in Region 3 are the same as last year...only difference is Georgetown replacing Vidor...Nederland has pointed towards this rematch since lat season...Reliant provides a great venue for this...can't wait

This should be a great game. I think the Dogs will do good. Our defense has been playing great ball and the offense struggles at times but overall they are good. Dawson is the real deal but I going with the Dogs 24 to 17.
