Grandview class of '91 married a Newton Girl class of '94...I have coached in Orange County for the past 10 years and have had to listen to Newton football stories for the entire time I have known my wife.  On a personal note, Curtis Barbay setup the interview with Dan Hooks for my first coaching job, so I have been a fan of Newton for some time now.......but it will end for this week!!!  Newton is more than likely going to win this game, but if the football gods will give me this one chance to serve some freshly baked Crow Pie to my wife, all will be right with the world!!!

Continue to dream. That's what [color=red][b]all[/b][/color] the remaining teams and their fans run on in the playoffs. I have a different dream, but it doesn't over ride anyone's. Mine has the Zebra's falling and the Eagles picking their bones!! Newton gotta stay focused.I have a friend who graduated from Grandview in the mid 50's and played for them. Mr. Joe Ross. He went on and played for Baylor. He says his dad also graduated from there in the '20's.

Granview must be pretty good. people are picking them to beat Newton by about two to one margin. (This is on texas2afootball forum ) I pick Newton by 4 tds if they play football without regrets.just solid smash mouth football. JMO
