Navasota vs. La Marque

This will be a good game to watch. One thing I do know about the LM coach is he never shows his hand. Those that say the LM they saw can not compete with Navasota have to understand that offense that they saw was very vanilla. I mean he LITERALLY used the same 7-8 plays the Cold Springs whole game. Dr. Jackson is a chess player and he seems to play the game well when adapted to football. I think it will be a good game all the same. Not a blow out but a good game.

Seems like everyone but LaMarque knows that they have a reputation of behaving just like you describe, BallFan.  With their most recent coaching changes I believe that
that isn't as prevalent a behaviour with them now as it
once was. ::)

LaMarque is in the district with West Columbia and Stafford.

LaMarque enrollment:  741
West Columbia        :  817
Stafford                  :  945


LaMarque will go DII next year as well.

LaMarque played the last 2 seasons in 4A with 3A numbers.

Unbelievable that they gave Manvel a heck of a game in the playoffs last year and went 2-2 in the last 2 years they plays.... Manvel had 2.5 times the enrollment. LaMarque can put athletes on the field with anyone. I think LM plays them close..... If i were a betting man, I'd actually feel better putting money on LM than Navasota. JMO.

[/quote]el campo lm and callalen all played manvel close. Dayton was 1 of their 2 blowout wins. Elcampo and lm are both 3a now. Uhm dayton was blown out while most everyone else in the playoffs played manvel close. Im starting to see a trend.

OK. I do not have a favorite team here. But I seen Navasota play Coldspring and La Marque play Coldspring twice. If CS plays each 10 games, more wins would come against La Marque than Navasota (if any). But again, it comes down to matchups. Gonna be a great game and I will be on the Navasota side (for safety reasons only).
