It could happen, but I doubt that LM will score 34 on Navasota's defense...

The most that the Rattlers have given up in one game has been 16 and that was against China Spring. The final 6 points came late in the game with Navasota already up 62-10.

I have said it once and I will say it again! La Marque will beat Navasota. I have a gut feeling that La Marque has enough talent to score and defend the big play threats on Navasota.

That may be, but China Spring doesnt compare by the slightest margin to la marque. La marque in't the amature teams that Navasota has seen thus far, Defensively we are the real deal. And offensively, we have enough speed and talent to get the job done.

I'll call for the closest game so far for Navasota.  Rattlers 36-20.

La Marque was in district 24-4A last season with 3A enrollment numbers, and they were one of only a couple of teams that were able to take down (35-28) the Pearland Dawson Eagles, who were just as good of a team then as they are now if not better. So I'm leaning toward LaMarque eeking this one out.

And Navasota lost to the state Champs last year.  They put up 46 against them with basically the same returning offense this yr.  So... Last year means absolutely NOTHING! lol
