There coaches are former La Marque players and coaches. Good pedigree.......

Nice.  Wherever they are from, they have done an incredible job in a very short time with the Dawson program.

By the way, it should be "Their" not there, but you did spell pedigree properly  8)

Doesn't that round yellow thingy there serve as a period? LOL
sure... an 8 and and a )  always substitute for a period. :)

On topic, Dawson really has built a solid history very quickly.....

Yes Dawson has done well in a short time, but to be fair they were pulling from Pearland High School, one of the great HS football programs over the past 10 years and Manvel is just to the south, so not like they didn't have a lot to work with from day 1.
what's impressive is how loaded all those schools are. Talk about an area that is dense with athletes......

Pearland HS has managed to stay at the top of their game also.  So, I don't think we pulled all of their talent.  Must be good youth programs and community support that is feeding all of these schools.

My favorite story is of Dawson's Tony Upchurch.  He is currently a junior, started playing football last year.  Never played before and is just a natural at it.  Do a Google search and read up on him.  Good kid with a lot of talent.  Must be a coach's dream to get a kid like that.

Yes. That is the most Impressive. Pearland, Pearland Dawson, Manvel and Friendswood all right in that 20 mile radius.

And Fort Bend Hightower is about 10 - 12 miles from Dawson and Manvel. They've been known to have a good team every once in a while.
