I'd say Carthage would have a better chance against Stephenville than you do against Yates.  Hope I am wrong but I think Yates is the one in another league.

I've been watching football at all levels longer than I care to admit.  A lot of that was Silsbee football, Waldo Matthews & Silsbee High.  So, if I say I'm 'feeling' this or that, I'm usually not wrong.  I would of preferred to have been wrong this time, but I wasn't.

Carthage has a great football team a lot of talk on this site is mainly in good fun we know Carthage is good we beat y'all in 98 and y'all beat us last night so were even but you have to finish the job and win it all, good thing for silsbee is that we still have basketball in which we are better in than football right now and a good chance to win state in that sport as well ,yeah it hurts that we lost but let's not get too cocky , just as Carthage was predicted the better team against silsbee , stephenville will be predicted the better team against Carthage if y'all make it ,so you guys get the credit for your victory but don't rub it in too much because stephenville or el campo may be doing it to you guys in the up coming weeks. Oh and silsbee does have a better chance against Yates than Carthage does against stephenville , their not the Yates of the past their very beatable.    Way to go tigers.  Good luck carthage

Did y'all win it all when y'all beat us way back when? And, y'all are completely ignoring Kilgore the same way you did Carthage. The district of doom is alive and well in the playoffs, Kilgore being part of that. That district has given teams hell for the past couple of years, that's where Carthage came out of. So do not count Kilgore out, stephenville has to play in the semi finals just like everyone else. I'm not being cocky. Not once have I been. I downed the fans on here that gave up on a group of kids that hours before they were saying would blow Carthage out.
