dogbite Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 I was wondering the same thing. A tough guy there
ram0524 Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 I'm not certain of anything, but he did go back out there for a couple of plays. Nothing serious by the looks of it. Hope nothing is wrong, we need him.
YankeeDawg Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 Hopkins is probably used to dirty hits by now...I'd be surprised if he doesn't have teeth marks and fingernail scratches on his body too. Whatever happened, I'm hoping he'll be 100% for next game..Prayers for full recovery.

Shamrock28 Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 I talked to Stampley and he said Kendrick will be fine.
GrayDog Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 That was an awesome TD run with the in-your-face stiff arm!
bobbymcgee Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 They need Hopkins back next week. I like Taylor's speed and athleticism and hurdling back there at RB but we need him fresh for defense.
Doggydaddy2 Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 He's had bruised shoulders most of the season, but he's tough as hell and will be ready to go next week!
KABrother Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 Hopkins is definetly a difference maker for this team and plays right into what Nederland does best, control clock, hold on to the ball, and physically wear down the opponent ...that is evidenced by Hopkins' play in the 2nd halves of games all season. I said this on another thread but I'll say it here too...Hopkins is an increadibly tough kid and i feel like you would have to leave him tied to the goal post in Nederland for him not to play next week

He'll be there.

coach pops Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 His dad said after the game last night he tweaked his bruised shoulder and should be good to go next week. He'll be there and effective as usual.
dogbite Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 Yes Hopkins will be a big part if this game. We need to pound the rock for long drives and he's the man to do it.
