GREAT JOB PIRATES, great season, great players and great coaching. We could not quite put it all together against a very good Carrollton team, but finishing runner-up in the 12U Division Isn't too bad. Im am totally proud of our players, coaches and FANS. I think Vidor, Lumberton Blue and Little Cypress represented the STJFL pretty well.

How exactly was Gucci being disrespectful of Vidor W? He simply stated facts. Vidor deserves all the credit in the world. Maybe Waco was the best team they played this year. However, the fact of the matter is that is your opinion, nothing more, nothing less. What is not up for debate is who the STJFL champs are, that would be PNG W. Or as you refer to them, the 2nd best team you played this year. Honestly I don't care if we were the 2nd or 3rd or worst team you think Vidor played this year. Any one  of those “rankings” would be an opinion. The trophy says champions, and by definition that means the best of your competition.  That is what we call a fact. Again, congratulations to Vidor on a heck of a season.

In response to Pirate mom, not sure exactly what “it” is you are referring to. If its the championship, we have 2 of those. If its heart, got that, too. (Im sure you were at the Super Bowl) So I dont know what "it" could be. Our HC made the decision that most of our kids (the 9yr olds) played 26 games in two years which was more than enough. Quite frankly what exactly did we have to prove? So obviously when you said "legitimately" you obviously meant thanks for letting us go. Your welcome.

Remember the game where you all brought the high school players, coaches, cheerleaders, your little blow up thing w/ the smoke, (that was sweet, BTW) must have been brutal to lose to a bunch of 9yr olds in front of everybody....Thank God it was a stupid local game or that really would have been embarrassing.... BTW, its rude not to thank the person who actually got you in the party you couldn't get yourself in. Need to work on your manners, Santa is watching and we cant help you there.

Why did this become about PNG?  I think the title of the thread is Vidor wins state.  Since you want to make this thread about PNG.  I have no doubt the team Vidor played would have beat PNG.  Basically you won district Vidor won state.

And, you want thanks, for what, not having the balls to go?  Ok Thanks

This wasn't a thread about PNG or WOS.  They both had great seasons.  This was about Vidor's win and the talent of the team they played.

Great job Vidor white,  one question,  didn't yall beat that PNG team earlier in the year and then lost with one of your best players sick.  Saying a team they played was the best they have played is not disrespecting anyone,  was a statement of their opinion.... everyone get your feelings off your shoulders.. again great job
