ram0524 Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 20-4a had a great, memorable season. Gonna miss watching one of the teams play each week. What do you think the All-District team will look like.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 i'll say this: I got a pretty good idea who the MVP is. ;)

mytwocents-28 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Not trying to sound cocky but we all know who should get the MVP spot. The big question is who is gonna get offensive player of the year? Montana leads rushing yards. Carson does lead the passing yards but only by 30 or so yards ahead of Mitchell and Carson had 4 more games then him. IMO I don't think Hopkins had the stats to be it but that's just my opinion. What do y'all think?
NDNation Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 So any performance after district shouldn't be considered? How does it work?
phunter308 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 I will say this for Hopkins. We got to see what Nederlands offense was like without him able to play. He was a huge part of it on offense. Montana should no doubt be the MVP. On defense you are going to have a lot of Nederland and WO-S.

Razor Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 That is correct...these selections were made weeks ago, I believe...I assume they will be released sometime this week
Slam14 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 [quote name="phunter308" post="1352839" timestamp="1355142962"]I will say this for Hopkins. BMTSoulja1 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 MVP - Quirante - VidorOMVP - R. Mitchell - CentralDMVP - Washington - Nederland

mytwocents-28 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Can anyone answer this for me?Off the Nederland defense did any one player have more pic 6's than everyone else?
Razor Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Stampley had 2 and led the team in tackles, I believe...IMO, he is a contender for Defensive MVP...Nederland names shoud really fill the defensive first team up pretty well
dogbite Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Also Kimler led the district in interceptions and Couron led the team (maybe district) in sacks
Razor Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Can't argue those guys either...Couron and Kimler both had amazing seasons and you can add many others to it as well, Washington, Pryor, Malveaux, Wood...Taylor was as good of a lockdown corner as there was in district...Seay played great, too and Whaley, Shaw, and Barrow all had good seasons.
cooligan Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Actually Stampley only had 1 pick 6 in district the other was against Angleton. Wood had 1 pick 6 (PNG) and recovered a fumble in the end zone after taking the ball away from the punter in either the Central or Ozen game. My choices for Dist Superlatives are:MVP - MontanaOPY - SezarDPY - a Ned player. It's a toss up between Stampley, Couron, Pryor and Washington. Washington is probably the most popular of the others, but his district #'s weren't as good as the other three. If I had to go with one it would probably be Stampley. He was the most consistent every night and led the team in tackles.
Razor Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 plenty of great play to go around on that D
cornhusker Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Stampley Couron or Pyror would be my choice for Defensive player of the district but its not always what we think. There will be some good players left off of the all district and it is what it is. There will be some feelings felt by good players that deserved recogination.
