I was really impressed with Lamar bc they handled NS. Who they play next?

North Shore is one of the most poorly coached teams in the state year after year.  They can win as long as their talent is a 10 and yours is a 6.  As soon as theirs starts inching down to a 9 and yours a 7, they will run into problems.  When they meet up with someone with as much talent as them.....katy bar the door.

They have built their reputation on having an overwhelming advantage in terms of raw athletes.  I have never once seen them exceed what their natural ability could do for them.

They have, what...4,000 students?  And they recruit all of the best HISD students on that side of town along with Sheldon ISD and NF ISD.

wow! they clearly took it to NS.

WOW! I saw Lamar play earlier this year, and I honestly wasn't impressed. They were certainly a beatable team, to me. The fact that they beat NS tells me that maybe they hit on something.

I caught a little of this game and it came down to North Shores lack of a passing game and a secondary that got torched by PA Memorial was done in again by Houston Lamar. That was the second time I have seen Lamar (early season meeting with WB) and they look about the same.

Northshore will never be the same running the spread.  When they were dominant in the region, they ran out of the I and was physical.  Normally, Hightower's been knocking them out of the 2nd round.  If it were me, I'd run the bone and dominate the competition......
