Dem I will say this much I watched a Navasota team that would most likely demolish SC, GT, Ned and many other 4a and 5a teams and they are 3a. Yes GT has big numbers but GT SC and maybe Pearland DAwson will move up next alignment if the districts don't fudge the numbers which happens a lot with multiple  H.S. in a school districts. Hey GT offense is really good but we shot ourselves in the foot too many times. Gt earned the win  and I hope they win it all.

You know what makes you guys cute!  Even when people tried to complement your team, it was never good enough.  Sharp is good.  Accurate and smart.  But as with every other team in the world,  HE IS THE STARTER FOR A REASON!  Good back to dreaming about next year.

thank you for complimenting our QB, I can't say we would be a .500 team and I can't say we would be 8-2....because we could not run the ball on good teams. Our pass opened up our run, and sometimes we still couldn't run. We had a great back in Keevon, unfortunate our O line couldn't help him

Ok.  The cannon comment always reminds me of Jamarcus Russell at LSU.  He could throw the ball 70 years from his knees.  But could not be accurate enough to be a NFL QB.  It takes so much more than a strong arm and 4,000 yards.

Those kids played 5A last year and were pulled from a larger talent pool before GTown dropped to 4A.  The true 4A GTown will be on display next year.

How are they pulled from a larger talent pool? When the UIL takes enrollment they look at the numbers for the JR, SO, FR, and incoming 8th grade classes, which means that everybody on GT was drawn from a 4a size pool(unless they have some 5th year SRs I don't know about ::)) the only advantage GT has is that they played against 5a teams last year and they probably saw overall tougher competition.

I agree....  I live 20 mins from a 3A school that would IMO, take care of Georgetown.  If you don't atleast think this is possible, you havn't seen Navasota this year.

I do see DGuyer and GT meeting up for finals in 4A, Div I. 

However, barring injuries or some crazy upset by TJT (who are no slouches, either), Denton Guyer takes the title.  I don't think GT defense can snuff out DG QB, IMO. 

I do think if final GT and DG, it will be close but DG wins it.  It would be a great game to see!

Personally I do not think that we got robbed. We had a terrible day and just got beat by a better team. Some people might blame it on enrollment but doesn't GT have less people then Conally and Dawson? But we had a great year and many memories from it. Good luck to GT the rest of the way, I'm rooting for y'all.
