We are losing most our O-Line, but since we run the spread and have blazing speed, we will be ok.  OH wait, we run a 1954 offense and don't have speed.  Oh well, at least we get to beat Dayton.  ;)

Newton will be loaded. Only 8 total seniors on this team. Lose a good qb but have  two soph. ready to step in. Newton should be even better next year.

My immediate expectations for Central is to getting back to what we do best... Running the ball downhill and hard hitting defense.  That's not asking much.  The rest will fall in place.  our running game have been nonexistent now for going on 3 years and on defense, teams used to gear the defense.  Now, we've became a joke of a defense.  Get back to our identity, by ANY means necessary.  It's sad that there's people that's been on our staff for 25 years and counting but somehow paid NO attention to the greats of past.

Colton Broussard, he is a big strong fast kid that can play any position of the field, he might have just as good of a leg as Noel as well.

I think Crosby should look at themselves a lot like the state semi-final team they lost to in Manor. Great offensively and play just enough defense. Our identity is what it is, just try to outscore you. We're losing one lineman and two receivers and Riordan has to coach the D up on defending the pass but with 15 starters coming back from a team that lost to a potential state champion I think it's regional championship or bust for the Cougars next year.

wo-s played alot of 9th and 10 graders this year but mostly had more sr players we are going to lose our two LBs -QB WRs and our punt return kid so weare loseing alot of key players  on our DL and a few on OL also.BUT if you have watched the JV play this year  we will not be in relly that bad of shape ;). i dont belive we will win the dist in 2013 but will be in the running

[/quote]dayton lost alot of kids but will have alot of young talent. Dayton also returns a coaching staff that has proven they can actually coach a team into mediocrity. With that said dayton will most likely be 6-4 and have the best shot at not making the playoffs since I can remember. At this point even bh offensive playbook makes daytons look bad.

[/quote]at least im honest. Coaching is everything in high school football. If it wasnt north shore would have about 10 rings. Give me a good coach with kids that respect him and the program and I will show you a winner. Right now dayton doesnt have those 2 things. Good luck to ned next year and tell your scouts to be at the scrimmage. We will be running the same plays at the end of the year. Save them some gas money in case we sqeak in the playoffs and catch ned.

Although the team will be young, I am hoping that we can be in the hunt for a playoff spot; or at least pose a spoiler for a team or two.  ;D

The Navasota Rattlers should make the playoffs as they have over the past several years. they will be losing a lot of key players this year. QB,RB 3WR, 3LB, 2DE etc... with that being said we have seveal under classmen that are starters and several more that will be processing through the system and become starters for young strong team and another spectacular RATTLER season!!!!! we have depth that should keep Navasota a playoff contender for the at least the next 4 years easily.  GO RATTLERS!!!!!
