Carranco must not have had as many opportunities this year. If he ain't the best 4A kicker in Texas I'd be shocked.

Now for those that don't think that the AP voters are North Texas biased (primarily DFW and Tyler/Longview areas)>

Say it isn't so. Nederland got 6 vidor got 2 and even Crosby got 2 but the "almighty greatest show on turf" only got one player to make it. I guess those who picked didn't get the pleasure of seeing the "greatest show on turf.

everybody does, and Tony Upchurch from Dawson isn't on there along with some others....

And there's no way not at least 2 of our LBs not make it, I'm looking at their selections, but it's all an opinion just like everything else is

Somebody was on crack or meth or maybe both when picking these all-state teams this year. Some of the selections and placement of some of the selections is comical at best. smh. Typical AP, just like their polls: a joke!  ::)

No Darrion Johnson, is pretty crazy.  He is one of the state's top DB's, who was also a valuable piece in the backfield and out of the wildcub.  Oh well, he's got another year of HS left.

He had a strong leg and was looking forward to see the go hype at the  Dayton Nederland game. His kick off was good, but he missed a field goal that was within his range.
