BH85 Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 Not a fun game to watch but you have to play the district games.
HillGuy Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 Not much different than Middle School days is it? NC just has zero youth programs to feed into school ball.Way to Eagles...keep taking care of business!

HillGuy Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 Thanks, T....both are doing great. Shaw (Vanderbilit, 11-3, 1-0 SEC) is getting about 9 min/game, with 3.5 pts and 2.5 rebounds/game. Evans (Faulkner, 14-3, 4-1 SSAC) has 6 starts, 19 min/game, 4.5 pts, 2.6 assts, 2 steals and 2.5 rebounds per game. Its early in conference play but she leads all conference freshmen in assists, steals and assist to turnover ratio. Faulkner is ranked #24 in NAIA Div 1, but should move up this week after beating #9 Xavier N.O. and undefeated Southern Poly.Main thing is they are both LOVING their schools, teammates and having a blast. Thank goodness for internet video livesteaming. Kids can now play a long way away and their parents can still live vicariously thru them just like HS, LOL.

Those are great numbers for young players (any player I guess). Both of these ladies had great backgrounds to help them succeed at the college level and it looks like they are taking advantage of every opportunity. Even though the Internet is better than missing the whole thing...there can be nothing better than being in the stands watching live. Hope you get to make as many games as possible. Congratulations and I wish Shannon (and mom & dad) much more success!
