Corey LeMaire is a Freshmen that starts at 2B for Lumberton. My book has it that he is hitting .320 and he is an outstanding defensive player.

Other Soph's that are making an impact are

Cody Hussey .333 BA

Stephen McDonough .319 BA

Orangefield has a freshman named Zach Peevy that starts in the outfield, when he is not pitching, and has been hitting in the two spot. He pitched a four hit shutout against Buna in the OF tournament and was 4 for 4 in that game.

Newton has a freshmen and a sophmore starting for them. Sophmore in left, freshmen in left. Sophmore is hitting .389. Freshmen is hitting .280. They are huge contributors to turning Newton baseball around.

HF has a sophomore who starts in the outfield and leads off....

I believe he is hitting over .500 for the 5-1 Longhorns

Your right, this kid can play and his name is Randall Courville. He can fly and has good size. Look for him to make some noise.

shepherd has two sophmores that are pretty good...they both are hitting the ball well...one plays second and one catches...the catcher has thrown out everyone who has tried to steal on him(5 i think but not sure) and the 2nd basemen made a great diving stop the other day
