Elam and Holmes are fantastic scorers. Id like to see better defense from the Tigers. Giving up far to many points still.
[/quote]I think their defense has been solid.  They need to cut down on the transitional turnovers. Last night was a good example. I bet 80% of their turnovers were unforced. Lots of full court passes that were overthrown and lots of bad passes on fast breaks. It's amazing what a good bounce pass will do on a fast break. They are playing good now, just need to play smart and prepare for some good teams in the playoffs.

80% is about right. Tigers were very careless with the ball last night and tried to force the ball too much. I agree, they need to play smarter.

Also, MAKE FREE THROWS!!!! 45-55% ain't gonna get it done.

Hey, BS - it's me again.  Your "to" should be too, but maybe you didn't have to have English on your transcript at PV. :D
But my real comment is that if Coach Sigler doesn't INSIST and then REQUIRE that the
squad, and starters in particular, practice
free throws then free throws won't be
practiced.  The guys would rather shoot 3's
and do their drives looking for dunk
opportunities rather than practice free
throws.  They just don't stop and think that
that could make any difference. 8)

I think when the Tigers gear up to play they can play good o both ends.  However,  they came into last nights game just thinking all they had to do was walk on the court an they had the game won.  A 2 point halftime lead showed that it wasn't that easy. They need to play to knock these teams out early,  dont give them a chance for the upset.
