Big 21-3A game Friday night, WO-S at HJ

Big game in Sour Lake Friday night as West Orange-Stark comes to town to take on Hardin-Jefferson. A lot riding on this game in regards to playoff seed. WO-S defeated HJ 45-43 the first time around and will try to get a season sweep to stay in that 2nd place spot. HJ needs the win to draw even with the Mustangs and keep their hopes alive of a district championship.

Remember, 2nd place in 21-3A goes to the upper bracket while 3rd place goes to the bottom half of playoff bracket.

Who takes this crucial game and why?

HJ, and it will be a much different game than at WOS.  Not taking anything away from WOS, they are a great team and they are well coached.

Both teams shot poorly in the first game.  Ought to be interesting to see if either or both can improve their percentages.

Should be a good game. But don't take WO-S lightly. I think they can match up with HJ.

I saw HJ play and was honestly pretty disappointed in HOW they played. Taking long threes, out of sync, poor execution, horribly defensively....They were only in the Silsbee game at the end playing out of desperation. Perhaps they have turned it up a notch or 5, because they played awful when I saw them last.  Bosha and Johnson need to turn it up... 8)

You should all take DV opinion with a grain of salt.  He has a lovefest for several SE Texas teams and HJ is not one of them.  However he saw one game this year when HJ was not at their best, and when even the Silsbee people have said that the Tigers played the best half of basketball that they have played all year.

Is that NOT what I said? I said they played AWFUL, and they did!  :o....A grain of salt? I know this game and I know when a team looks bad...HJ looked BAD that night at Ford Park...Perhaps YOUR opinion could be taken with a grain of salt, due to obvious bias, but my opinion is rock solid based on what I saw that night...Silsbee was tougher, and looked 10 times better on THAT night. FACT.
