Lamar probably offered him a full scholarship. Generally, the bigger schools want kickers and punters to walk-on.

Which makes no sense. These guys lead your team in scoring. The better they are the more you score so why won't they pay them?

Well, I hope that's not the case - those kids work hard too.....But someone as talented as Juan should have gotten more than lamar (in a soft voice)....But.....We all know lamar can use him..... ;D

Congrats Juan. Hull-Daisetta kicker Dustin Welch will one day kick in college. Welch is just a sophomore and is deadly accurate from 45 yards and in. I'm sure he will get even better in next 2 seasons.
