1st to 3rd move now a balk in mlb..so what about hs?

Saw on yahoo this morning that banned the move...seems silly to me to change but whatever...just curious what that means for HS and college? Do they automatically follow the rule change?

Yes its just strictly the first and third pickoff

with new rule -if a pitcher steps to third with runner on first he will concede 2nd base - the actual move rarely worked for pick off - but it did hold a runner closer to first on a high leg kick with runners at first and third - now stealing 2nd is much easier in that situ - they can go on first movement of front leg with RHP - huge advantage to base runner - IMO - don't like the rule change -
