Going to hit rayburn during springbreak for a week. Hope to do work! Last year we caught well over 100 fish during springbreak week

It looks like the hunting season is finished until next October. Two more does in the freezer and time to break out the fishing gear.

It's not far out. It is a 28 pound bass.

Caught it in my buddy's pond.  Scale said 6-3, but it looked a lot bigger than a 5-12 I caught out of there last week.  I don't think it was a good reading.  We think more like 7 or 7 1/2.  I was rushing to get it back in the water and didn't want to waste time re-weighing it.

Friday and Saturday of Easter. caught on the Neches/Angelina rivers with Texas rigged watermelon candy red baby brush hogs and tequila sunrise power worms. needless to say, we fried fish for Easter.

been killing them on rayburn and Conroe with wacky worms. Buddy caught two eight pounders on rayburn last weekend

we had to work for them, but we found a few fish this weekend.  after we cleaned this mess we found a few more crappie, but just threw them in the fish basket to clean later so no picture.

caught this one late yesterday evening on rayburn. all together we caught close to 30 but most were small. only 7 keepers. the one in the pic was right at 8 lbs. I returned her back to the lake. she was fun to catch.
