The kids played a complete team game last nite.  They are young and starting to find their nitch just in time for the playoffs.  This was a good win, and I think they have a few rounds deep in them when the playoffs begin.  Watch and See.

I have to agree with Dick Vitale. I find it hard to believe that people in Port Arthur are just happy about making the playoffs. Everybody knows the success Lincoln had. TJ was a strong contender in 5A even though they were a small 5A. SFA always had strong teams in 3A. Now all three of these schools are combined and they are just happy to make the playoffs. Memorial should be a least a three deep perennial powerhouse and should plan on making reservations in Austin year after year. To much talent there not to. All I hear every year is how young they are. These kids have to grow up sometime. Could it be the coach may not be the right fit for this school? I just find it hard to believe they are satisfied with just making the playoffs with all the talent around that campus.
