TXHORN_ET Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Kirby is tuff at home..what do the district standings look like?
Jacks03 Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Kville is 11-1Woodville 9-3Corrigan 9-3Hemphill 8-4Newton 5-7Warren 2-10Deweyville 2-10Kountze 2-10If Corrigan wins tonight and Woodville wins tonight and beats Kirbyville at home on Tues, than it would be a Tri-District Championship provided Corrigan wins on Tues as well.
Guest millermays Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 Kirbyville won by 1 point. So that puts Hemphill back in the hunt if they win out. Hemphill beat Warren on Friday night giving them a record of 9-4 and Corrigan-Camden's lost to Kribyville put them at 9-4. If Kirbyville wins against Woodville it will be a three way tie with Woodville, Hemphill, and Corrigan. They will all l be 10-4. Tough district and will have a tough first round for who ever gets in the 2nd and 3rd place slots to go against Central Heights and Woden, then Tatum.
Jacks03 Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 With Woodville's win last night against Deweyville that put them in the play-offs for sure even if they lose to Kirbyville on Tues. There would be a 3-way tie, but based on the records of the 3 schools involved Woodville would get to sit the first round of the tie breaker out because they are 3-1 against Corrigan and Hemphill and they would play the winner of Hemphill and Corrigan for 2nd and 3rd. Also Palestine Westwood is gonna be 3rd in district 19 not Woden.
Guest millermays Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Right, Woden has to play Crockett for their last game, but we never know what might happen. Well Kirbyville won on Friday night, so if Woodville wins on Tuesday against Kirbyville they will be in second place and Corrigan and Hemphill will have to break the tie for 3rd. But if Woodville loses, they will sit out because of their record. Oh well, these are four good teams and wish all of them the best in the tiebreakers and playoffs.
