::) not worried about Nederland playing Kountze.. Fact is they don't play a regular season game.. But I can tell you they wouldn't be scared of Kountze

As far as your "assumption" on people seeing these teams.. I can tell you the ones picking Yates by alot are the ones actually have seen them.. Not picking from paper

I'm all for believing in your team, but c'mon man!!
I have seen both teams play. I am not picking Yates in a blow out. Yates will win, but by less than most think.

Wrong. Haven't you noticed that I have been labeled a Kountze "hater" these days? ;) ;D

I think we have a very good pg that makes things happen off dribble.
N was pretty much unstoppable against a very good white oak team. N he's only a fish  ;D
White Oak! Okay-y-y-y-y-! Lets see, (a) Swift (quick & athletic @ 6'7 plays the point on a pressing defense....

My reasons to believe kountze can beat yates is they can 1better shooters outside
2 are deep.  3. Can run with yates.
Onky advantage I give to yates is height.  And fundamental. Boxing. Out eliminates that.

Like I said if powell and harper are on, KOUNTZE WINS
So, it gets down to two players on the Kountze squad for them to win.  You are pretty shallow in your analysis and expectations. ??? 8)

I see alot of ppl on this site have no knowledge of basketball.
Dogs1218. I assure u the dawgs want none of them lions.  So if
Kountze beats yates does this make kountze the best team 1A-4A CAUSE yates
Still would be the best team in 4a right ?

::) ::)

Back away from that little brown jug you are drinking from. ;D

Well Einstein, I hate to break the news to you, but Yates is classified as 3A now. ;D

I hate agreeing with Dicky V...

Then DON'T!  I can always find a reason not to agree with the arrogant - errrr - never mind.

Arrogance is often confused with confidence and greatness...Micheal Jordan was sometimes called arrogant...Geno Auriemma too...Oh, and of course Kobe has been called that a time or two, so.....THANKS!  ;D ;D

Yates is 3A.  U got to be kidding me  ;D.    No more talking for me. Come feb 16th.  The players will to the talking on the court.  Either I will be wrong or alot of ppl on this forum will be wrong... I like my chances.  Kountze isnt #1. In 2A because of 2 players..  they have a solid team but those 2 are lights out from outside n thats what opens up defenses for arnold to pentrate.  Williams will be solid inside he plays like a 6-6 with a 6-2 frame

Just another grandiose idea of yours.  That is, to include yourself in any conversation
with the people that you mention.  That's the point DV, you're just not of this world are you?

I'm not familiar with "pentrate."  And Williams is gonna' have to play like two 6-6 players for Kountze to keep up with Yates. :)

He makes some points that I wish a few people would understand, but I can't stand someone who thinks WAY too highly of themselves.. Instead of confidence, he shows pure arrogance.. He wouldn't be as bad if he didn't throw his "so-called" accolades around on this forum..

Seriously, have any of you guys seen Yates lately, they are not some super squad like everyone is saying.  I have seen them play and they are definitely beatable.  Yes Height is important, but not when you don't know how to use it.  The 4-5 6'7 players they have, all play outside, jacking up three's.  I am not saying Kountze is going to win, but Yates is not some unbeatable squad--stop it.  These are the same arguments everyone used a few years back when Kountze played Milby--Kountze lost by 6 to the #1 4A team in the state--closest anyone came all year.

No called them unbeatable.. ??? I guess some people are trying convince home-town people that they are at a different talent level.. Kountze is a great 2A team, no question.. Won't get an argument from me there

But  :-\Correction 5a team.  Milby. But that kountze team. Was prolly 1 of the best 5 teams in the state. Any classification..... milby was also loaded....  this kountze team is very talented but not on that level best ktz team imo since the 07 championship team
Actually Milby was the USA Today #1 team in the NATION at that time  ;)

That's only because you guys do not REALLY know me...And what makes my achievements and accolades "so-called"? Thats not fair.... :o....I have worked really hard to be GREAT!  ;D ;D....Honestly, I really wish those of you that judge me really KNEW ME....I mean why get mad at me because all I do and have ever done is WIN?  ;)....OK, OK, I am picking with you on that, but really....WHEN have I shown ONE OUNCE of arrogance? Show me!! 8)

This years Kountze team  is maybe the 5th best team in SETX. Jack Yates  plays about 9 deep. When they.do jack up all those 3's the two 6'6 kids clean the glass. Kountze's press wont even phase Yates. They did well against the press from Travis. Kountze might have to pull out of their press early! In a half court game it will be embarrassing.

    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
    • @CIS_org National Security Senior Fellow @BensmanTodd tells Steve Bannon how the U.S. State Department and USAID have been sending American taxpayer funds to religious nonprofits to facilitate mass immigration to our southern border. Bensman says 248 nonprofits are participating in the United Nations’ 2024 agenda to distribute $1.6 billion in cash, transportation, food, and shelter to U.S.-bound immigrants across Mexico and Latin America.
