Gander Head Baseball Coach David Hackney suffered a heart attack last Monday. As a result, he underwent open heart surgery last Friday.

Double bypass surgery went well with no major damage to the heart.

Asst. Layne Neumann will serve as HC until Coach Hackney returns in mid-March.

Sorry I had heard the surgery went well so thats why I didnt ask earlier. Glad to hear he will be back in March!
