BLUEDOVE3 Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Is this a tradition in S.E.Texas and other small communities? Never heard of this until a few years ago.

Kinda like when I first heard about Little Dribblers back in the early 2000's. I thought Lil' Dribblers were 4-5 year old kids playing basketball.
Dick Vitale Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 In Houston, Dove we don't REALLY have "Senior Nights", because our district games are played at the stadiums. Therefore, it's only Senior Night if they just CALL IT that in Houston...My "senior night" was our last district ball game against Bellaire....Scored 34...won by 30...Dad had us (starters) sitting almost the entire 4th quarter talking about getting healed and rested for the playoffs! >:(....I think he was taking it easy on his buddy on the other sideline!!! I could have scored 50! That's YOUR coach, Bluedove!!! :D :D 8)

He didn't care who was the coach was - he wanted blood.
uandme08 Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 What's really the point? It's sad that some parents only come on that one night and then only stay for a little while.
