Have to cheer on Cleveland in this one. Somewhere around mid season turned turned a corner and really started playing some decent basketball. Played Splendora close for 3 periods (even had the lead at the half) and surprised a flat Huffman.

Way to go Lady Cougars!  This  type of game is why the UIL should go to a wild card type system... instead of 3 teams going from each district...

HF or BC are more deserving of a playoff spot than Cleveland... (Cleveland lost ot HJ's JV earlier in the year..)

If you look at the 23-3a district out of Houston... there are 2 teams form that district that would struggle to win a district game against the JV teams from 21-3a....  uggg.....
